When Paula and Sion met in the field of iceberg lettuce in Shropshire, they knew they were destined to be together.

Paula is from Poland and passionate about the Polish heritage in producing Spirits.  Strong tradition along with distilling and rectification as part of her Masters (MEng), has fuelled this passion. 

 

Sion is very proud of his Welsh and agricultural roots.  Although distilling was not part of his Agricultural Degree (BSc Hons).  The interest in distilling soon developed.  Firstly, with a plan to distil essential oils from crops soon developed into a vision of distilling spirits.

Paula and Sion were an instrumental part of establishing a successful distillery in Northamptonshire in 2012.  Following this Sion moved to Langley Distillery in Birmingham before moving to Union Distillers in Market Harborough.  Paula had already been helping the team at Union Distillers.

​

In 2018 they launched their own brand again, Four Feathers.  However, the success of helping others to create their own dreams has followed and Edwards Distillers is a growing family of partners working together to consult, distil, blend and bottle new and existing brands into the world of spirits.
